Tiko - The Working Video 3

Sensor Controlled Tiko Bot

This lesson introduces the concept of controlling Tiko Bot’s tail movement using a sensor. It demonstrates how a sensor can detect an action or object and trigger movement in a robot.

In this activity, the Tiko Bot’s tail is connected to a motor through a motor driver and a sensor module. When the sensor detects an object or action, the motor activates and Tiko’s tail moves, showing how sensors can make robots respond automatically.

What You Will Learn

Through this activity, you will explore:

  • Basic understanding of sensors in robotics

  • How a sensor can control a motor

  • How robots can respond to their surroundings

Materials Used

To build the sensor controlled Tiko Bot, the following materials are used:

  • Tiko Bot model

  • Bo Motor

  • Motor Driver

  • Sensor Module

  • Battery

  • Wires
